Since October 7th, the attacks against Israel have required repeated military mobilizations.
IDF Reservists answer that call with courage and patriotism, leaving behind families and careers again and again in defense of their country.
Risen Hearts brings together Christian and Jewish Americans with a unified call to serve Israelis. We invite IDF Reservists to the US for a time of respite and healing through our Teton Refuge program. Additionally we offer support in Israel, visiting and providing for wounded veterans and their families, sowing encouragement, life, and hope wherever we go.
Why do we serve Reservists?
Israeli reservists are often men in their 30s and 40s—husbands, fathers, professionals, and business owners who have built lives, careers, and families. Yet, they continue to be called away from those lives, redeployed into war, and exposed to repeated trauma and loss. Risen Hearts exists to offer these Reservists opportunities for rest and healing.

For me seeing the Jewish community and Cristian community together was probably the most powerful thing.
The staff was perfect, every single person was unique and made this whole trip so great.
